FreeMarkets ES Enterprise Application - Before and After

Description: A redesign of FreeMarket's bidding console which required adding new functionality, internationalization and addressing usability problems of the earlier design.

Earlier problems and changes included
-Bids (dots) too small and overlapping
-Needed to differentiate bids from multiple suppliers. Current functionality only showed eight colors of dots to indicate suppliers bids.
-Users needed to see more than one lot at a time
- Information was not grouped, chunked and categorized the way the users worked with the console.
-Dynamic information is visually differentiated from static information.
-Dotted circle surrounding bid visually shows market leading bid and bid buffer.
